I spent time at the Bo'ness and Kinneil railway preservation site. Where I completed a week of volunteer work that involved working with a team where I learned how to repair a rail road tracks.

• In April 2024 I travelled to the Netherlands with my university to take part in the annual civil engineering conference. This helped me to see how construction practices are implemented all over the world as I was grouped with people from Norway, France, and Germany.
• In our groups we had some tasks to complete which me and my team done successfully, highlighting my great interpersonal skills as I was easily able to befriend new people, and organise the team to complete a series of tasks.
