After a week's work experience in the summer of 2023, I was offered a paid position of temporary finance assistant from 24/06/24 - 18/09/24, during this time I gained experience within the accounts department at the Markey Group, I carried out daily tasks such as:
- Matching invoices to delivery notes and processing them onto the system via Sage 500.
- Using Excel to match purchase order numbers to invoices on accounting software, primarily on Xero.
- Filing invoices into the correct folders in chronological order, ensuring they are easily accessible whenever necessary.
Responsible for basic food preparation, and keeping track of orders ensuring that food came out of the kitchen in a timely manner. Eager to apply strong customer service skills, and had a keen eye for detail in a face paced food service environment.
