I was a loyal member of the North Ayrshire Amateur Swimming Club from 2017 - 2025 During this time I was an integral part of the team, whilst progressing from junior to senior teams I was inclusive to others, providing support, guidance and mentoring younger, less experienced members of the team I encouraged those learning new skills to have confidence in themselves and acted as a role model to aspiring swimmers My communication skills were key to this, identifying ways to engage with team members of all ages and abilities I remained calm under pressure whilst competing at National competitions and channelled my nerves to ensure I performed to the best of my ability each time

I assisted in raising funds for the club to support our Hot Weather Training Camp in Spain in 2024 and raised in excess of £4000 As a senior member of the team I used this to encourage Team Building, in particular with those who were less confident

Cubs/Scouts

From the age of 5 years old I was an active Member of the 31st Ayrshire Loans Cubs and Scout Group This encouraged me to challenge myself with new life skills, communications skills and instilled the value of team working in me
