Started and fostered General Gardens Glasgow from a team of two workers to a team of five. Building the company from a part-time seasonal spring/summer job to a fully fledged business and full time occupation.

providing consistent quality garden maintenance as well as landscaping services, for both residential and commercial clients.

Within the company I was both a manager as well as a hands on labourer. Completing tasks associated with both roles, driving my team to complete tasks on time and to a high standard.

However for a large portion of the job I would also work alone which I find enjoyable, as a self motivated person who takes pride in my work.

I was employed as a janitor and warehouse worker for the fabric and soft furnishing company Timorous Beasties. undertaking a multitude of tasks including:

general cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse facilities and grounds, constructing displays and shelving, cleaning gutters, painting walls and flooring .

as well as these janitorial tasks I would also complete warehouse operational activities such as stock taking and the wrapping and packaging goods, including the cutting of fabrics and stuffing of cushions.

working in a Chinese restaurant I eventually became responsible for, hiring and firing staff, as well as shift allocation.

Along with this I was trained in silver service techniques, serving customers table side. As well as the regular wait staff tasks of taking orders, cleaning tables, and generally maintaining health and safety standards, all with a smile keeping good staff and customer relations.
