Hinkley Point C- Nuclear Power Station Project

• Follow up on Non- Conformance Reports (NCR) / Request for Information (RFI) / Field Change and Request (FCR)

• Implements the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) ensuring that evidence and witness sign off is achieved at every step

• Coordinate with temporary works team to ensure temporary works are identified and the correct procedure is applied.

• Pre-pour inspections and Construction joint (CJ) inspections - Conducted detailed inspections of formwork, reinforcement, embedded items, and surface preparations to ensure compliance with project specifications and design drawings before concrete placement.

• Temporary Work-Coordinator

• Responsible for supporting the production of methods statements and risk assessments to be approved by supervising engineers.

• Collates and files quality records for potential inclusion in quality assurance documentation
• Carries out quality control checks using internal check sheets where appropriate
• Adopts and promotes a culture of 'right first time'
• Files and maintains the engineer's drawings and specifications so that the current information is always available.
• Interprets and abstracts construction information from the drawings and specifications and provides this to the supervisors and operatives in a clear and understandable way using sketches.
• Measures materials usage and provides quantity information for preparation of material call off/ requisitions.

• Effectively communicate technical information to the workforce and liaise with all functions and support services in a timely and accurate manner.

Hinckley Point C (HPC) Nuclear Island project. Laing O'Rourke in partnership with Bouygues TP (BYLOR) is delivering the main civil engineering works at HPC, Constructing the buildings that will house the two EPR (European Pressurised Reactor) nuclear reactors.

• Use advanced surveying equipment Leica total station to mark out precise locations for construction

• Ensure alignment, levels, and reference points meet engineering drawings and design specifications such as embedment's

• Analysing data using plans, maps, charts and software such as AutoCAD, Civils3D, Leica Survey Software.

• Making GA drawings

• Ensures that appropriate as built surveys are undertaken, correctly recorded and communicated.
