• Played a key role in developing the First Article process and its successful implementation on key T26 Milestone and critical path installation activities; Helicopter Landing Grid, Gearbox, Composite Mast, Anchor Bow Castings, Drop Stern, A Brackets and Stern Tubes.
• Leading a team of Manufacturing engineers to deliver on required tasks and objectives; safety, quality, delivery, cost and people.
• Applying problem solving techniques and documenting Learning from Experience.

• Technical gallery modules flat pack "IKEA" strategy - £1.1million benefit (T26), £4.3million (GCS).

• Founded the Manufacturing Instruction concept and authored the BAE Naval Ships Manufacturing Instruction template and associated process guidance. This has yielded over 500 different processes created by the department.
• Design For Manufacture - creating Interim product standards to improve engineering design and operational processes on T26.
• Reviewing and interpreting engineering design, supplier technical packages including installation guidance.
• Developing structural processes and ensuring engineering design standards align with capital infrastructure and process capabilities.
• Green belt trained and applying DMAIC and lean methods to identify areas of non-value added activity within production processes and systems and develop solutions to achieve efficiencies and improve operational performance.

• Capacity planning and labour performance and utilisation to ensure on-time delivery objectives are met.
• Engaging with internal stakeholders to plan / overcome material, resource, and technical challenges and ensure key project milestones fulfilled.
• Creation of SOP’s and creating monthly metric reports on performance.
• Inventory management and reconcile any stock issues through audit trail investigation.
• Create BOM and process work orders and finished goods, including material requisition requests.
• Using Lean and problem solving to analyse root causes and continuously improve operation processes and solutions.
