Accomplishments

    Master's Project — Non-Linear Time Series Analysis of Biosensor Data

  • Developed a standalone instrument with the aim of using novel electrochemistry to detect levels of organic and inorganic chemicals in complex solutions, including blood.
  • 3rd Year Project — Investigation into Non-invasive Testing of Acetone Levels in Sweat

  • Worked with a group to develop a pair of non-invasive investigative devices capable of detecting acetone levels in sweat with the aim of early diagnosis of diabetes.
  • 2nd Year Project — Rio Tinto Sports Innovation Challenge

  • Worked with groups to develop several devices to aid in the training of para-athletes
  • This includes an instrumented pedal-bike for velodrome cycling, an instrumented and electronically aided kayak for training and competition purposes and an instrumented leg prosthesis adaptor to aid in training and safety of the athlete.
