I am a proactive and highly motivated Occupational Therapist with extensive experience working in neurorehabilitation and acute care, including stroke, poly-traumatic injuries, and challenging discharge planning. I am qualified to offer specialist assessment and intervention to achieve upper limb recovery and cognitive rehabilitation and have hands-on experience with working with FES, GripAble, and Saebo equipment. I am trained to prescribe wheelchairs, kinesiology taping, and cognitive assessment prescription and have experience in efficiently supervising junior staff and students. I work confidently within multidisciplinary teams and have experience in joint OT/PT working, embracing a blended rehabilitation approach to deliver holistic, goal-focused interventions. I recently attended a neuropsychologist-led webinar on emotional lability, reinforcing a keen interest in holistic neuro care. I am committed to ongoing professional development and enthusiastic about advancing my clinical skills in a dynamic Band 6 neuro setting.
