- Power factor correction [June ,2016 – May, 2017] Inductive loads connected in supply causes the reduction in power factor. To maintain power factor, capacitor banks are switched according to the requirements. Thus the circuit maintains a power factor greater than 0.9 always to keep the industry from penalty due to power factor reduction.
- Fuzzy controller based high gain DC-DC converter with MPPT [August ,2019 – July, 2020]
Increased demand in solar for daily requirement can be done through a high gain converter. To extract maximum power, MPPT using Fuzzy controller is used. Because of high gain, the converter can be used for grid tied applications also and it has high efficiency. The challenges that has faced is that the output current can't be controlled because of single switch.
