My everyday responsibilities in my current role include:

• Operating machinery at various stages of process to produce glass and mirrors e.g. Glass optimizer, Straight line edger, Double edger, Bevelling Machine, Flat bed drill, Upright drill, Glass toughener, Paint sprayer, sand blaster, rounded corner machine, Safety backer and overhead crane.
• Ensuring timely delivery of tasks, as well as collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines.
• Ensuring smooth running of machinery by performing regular maintenance.
• Adjusting machine settings to optimise performance.
• Clearing debris and waste from working areas, maintaining safe conditions.
• Completing daily documentation, updating operational records and company logs.

Within this company I have also been a despatch coordinator, with this I would:

• Operate forklifts to move large shipments.
• Check inventory levels.
• Prepare detailed dispatch notes with order information.
• Load vehicles properly according to size and weight restrictions ensuring secure transit of goods.
• Verify and label items against order lists before dispatch to avoid mistakes.

I have training in using a crane as well as up to date forklift (counterbalance) license.

In my time at this employment I:

• Was trained to use various machinery, such as injection moulder, plastic/rubber reforming machine and industrial shredder to produce spiral tree guards.
• Contributed to quality control checks for consistent product standard.
• Troubleshot equipment issues, reduced machine downtime.
• Reduced waste by efficiently utilising raw materials during production process.
• Loaded raw materials into machines for processing.
• Maintained high levels of organisation and cleanliness for clear and safe working environment.
