I am a creative college student with a passion for theatre and Spanish. Through babysitting, I have developed exceptionally good communication and time keeping skills. Having achieved GCSE Food and Nutrition, I am used to working in a kitchen and familiar with all aspects of food safety and preparation. Having performed for many years in school musicals, this has helped me to become a confident and inclusive individual. Linking to teamwork, I have completed Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh awards. These expeditions helped me to focus on my leadership and problem solving. I am an athletic person, participating in many sports such as basketball, tennis and football. These sports have enhanced my teamwork skills and provided me with a strong and resilient mindset.
I have been babysitting for the past couple of years for all ages of children. This demonstrates how responsible and reliable I am. I am very confident and a people person. I also love animals and often help out with looking after pets which demonstrates how practical I am.
As I am taking A Level Theatre, I have joined the Prospect Theatre Company. On a weekly basis I am one of a group of students who go into schools to teach physical theatre techniques and expression in Y9 and upwards. We create a fun and inclusive environment for students and I love seeing them learn. I enjoy working in a team and am an excellent communicator with the young people and their teachers.
I was part of a very welcoming team, where every week we delivered a free first aid course. We each had a specific role, and I was required to practice and demonstrate the different scenarios and forms of resuscitation to the public.
For the volunteering section of my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award I helped out for 3 months at St Peters after school club.
