I am a dynamic salon professional with a background in an appointment-driven environment. I worked with stylists to manage client flow and prepare supplies and tools for the scheduled services.
I am an excellent communicator, with strong organisation skills, with attention to detail and have been a dependable hairdressing assistant with 36 years of experience.
During my employment I have successfully managed multiple priorities with a positive attitude, I am always Willing to take on greater responsibilities to meet team goals.
Many of my clientele were elderly or had disabilities, who needed assistance and were always treated with respect. I would assess the clients ability to ensure they were able to maintain their independence under my supervision.
I feel that my years of experience have enabled me to interact with and treat the public with respect and dignity. Also in my previous employment I ensured the environment was safe for the public and employees, and when handling client payments recorded expenditure in a robust manner.
Since leaving my most recent post, I am currently volunteering at a number of charitable organisations, which entails the following : Working in a café at the Salvation Army once a week and at a college once a week, looking after the elderly ladies and gentlemen with learning disabilities. I am also on the social team at the slimming world group, where I go to twice a week to assist with 'Weigh and Pay'.
