Anna Westwater-Lewis

In this job I run a shift of up to five people and open and close the shop completing daily tasks like cleaning, working on the till, making drinks and banking up. Throughout a shift I make brand standard coffees, teas, iced drinks and food. A big part of my job is the customers, so everyday I take their orders, make their coffee and finish with a smile. I have built and maintained relationships with customers recalling names and regular orders. I constantly expanded personal knowledge of coffee styles and varieties. In this role I volunteered every Thursday at a function put together for adults with learning difficulties. my role consisted of handling money, selling food and drink, setting up equipment and supervising the service users. References can be provided if necessary.

In this role I served food and drink to the public . This helped me gain confidence dealing with the public during high pressure situations. I also learnt skills like delivering food and beverage orders within established timeframes, balancing tills, accurately cash handling, taking stocks, processing credit card payments and preparing bank deposits.
