  • Whilst working as a Customer Service Advisor for The Range, I was able to remain clear in my communication whilst in a high pressure situation such as returns and customer complaints.
  • During my high school career I was a member of my high school debate team which involved communicating concisely and tailoring ideas effectively.
  • I had the opportunities to participate in the Leadership Award Programme 2020, offered by LikeToBe. Throughout the course I developed my problem solving skills which was evident in my ability to contribute effective suggestions and solutions in problem solving activities.
  • During a residential trip for the National Citizen Service, I had the opportunity to take part in many team building and problem solving activities. I was able to develop my confidence and knowledge on what is involved in solving complex problems as a group.
  • Working as a customer service provider required the ability to think quickly and clearly in a pressured environment in order to solve problems.
  • Part of the National Citizens Service award required me and a group of my peers to execute a fundraiser for Sporting Light Appeal which required organisation and communication skills which resulted in raising the most money in the county for our chosen charity. .
  • The Leadership Award Programme with Like2Be improved my understanding of my personal skills and strengths and how to identify these in others which enables me to participate and allocate specific roles.

  • My main responsibility working with Workshop included serving food and drink at events such as weddings, garden parties, conferences, or formal hall dinners at the colleges around Cambridge
  • This role required the ability to think on my feet while remaining professional and courteous to guests, especially when serving formal dinners
  • Shifts at the colleges also required the ability to balance tasks in a busy atmosphere, for example, serving the dining hall while preparing for the dinner later that evening or finding the time to wash and polish glasses for tomorrow

  • During my time temp role at Cambridge Assessment I was part of a team that dealt with moderator queries during the June 2021 exam series
  • Part of my role involved inputting data into a spreadsheet, looking up information in large spreadsheets and using other specialised portals in order to record and find information to carry out my role
  • This has enabled me to refresh my excel and other system skills in order to effectively and efficiently collect and record information
  • The role involved a large amount of individual problem solving as I was acting as a liaison for moderators and centres involved with Cambridge Assessment
  • I was also able to effectively prioritise responses in order to follow a long process whilst keeping up with a large workload that was constantly updated
  • My role with Cambridge Assessment was a remote working position that required me to utilise shared document functions, video chat meetings and chat functions in order to contribute to team discussions
  • I was also given the opportunity to learn how to gather relevant information from contacts on multiple platforms in order to solve issues.
