Summary

After many years in hairdressing and having successfully owned and conducted day to day running of my own salon for over 20 years, I gained a lot in terms of experience, professionally and personally from my job.

I successfully trained many young hairdressers, and gave them the opportunity to work and be successful within the industry. I built very close relationships with my clients and staff, that remained very loyal for many years. My job was more than the practical side for me, it was the teaching and caring side that I thoroughly enjoyed the most.

I decided to sell my salon as I wished to complete my family with my third child being due and also due to relocation for family commitments.

As my children are of school age, this has now provided me with the time and opportunity to build on my personal and professional development, which will allow me to move onto the next stage of my career.

As was a natural progression, I decided that the next step was to gain my PTLLS teaching qualification to enable me to teach within a educational environment and recently completed and passed my level 3 CACHE Teaching assistant qualification in supporting teaching and learning, I am also working towards my SEN qualification.

I am a caring, loyal, trustworthy, dedicated and committed individual that always gives 100% in everything I do and will give nothing less than my best. I am excited to now gain the valuable experience I will need to become successful and productive within the educational environment.
