  • Part two was broadcast on a Friday evening (the first time Tonight had TX’d on a Friday in over a decade) and beat Eastenders in ratings.

  • Co-producing Sir Trevor McDonald’s exclusive interview with pop superstar George Michael.
  • Selected as one of a small team to fly out to New York in the aftermath of 9/11 for a series of Tonight specials.
  • Securing exclusive access to Angela Cannings in the weeks after her murder conviction was overturned by the Court of Appeal in a landmark legal case.
