Anna Freel

From my time as a tour guide and seasonal character, I developed great communication and presentation skills, and so thrive when working with others. These, along with my role as a cashier also helped me develop my problem-solving skills. All of my past and current jobs have required me to be punctual and maintain a high level of stamina throughout my shifts.

I am an adaptable, resourceful, enthusiastic and hardworking individual with excellent time management and communication skills.

LLCM Music Theatre

I have trained extensively in Music Theatre performance, which has aided me in developing my communication and presentation skills. After completing Grade 1-8 in my younger years, I went on to achieve three diplomas in Music Theatre, with my most recent being my LLCM qualification. 

Soroptimist Public Speaking Competition Finalist, 2019 

In 2019, I won the regional heat of the Soroptimist Public Speaking Competition and progressed to the Northern Ireland Finals. I spoke on the topic of ‘Young women of today – is it a glass ceiling or a sticky floor?’.

Head of Down High School Senior and Chamber Choir, 2021-2022

I was the Head of both the Senior and Chamber Choir in my last year of high school, which required me to organise and rehearse a group of around 100 students.

I was a Senior Prefect in my last year of high school, which required me to help Junior School students with any issues or queries that they had, as well as deliver assemblies. 

Friendship House Volunteer, Sandy Row, 2022-2023

I volunteered at Friendship House Homework Club in my first year of university. I helped primary school children with their homework, as well as aided them in developing their academic skills. 

Sunday School Teacher, Newcastle Baptist Church, 2020-current

I am a Sunday School teacher at my local church, where I am required to organise and write lessons, and work with primary school-aged children.
