Primarily a Class teacher responsible for the day to day care, planning of lessons, teaching and assessing of my pupils with experience in teaching all the age ranges from Early years to Year 6.
Key Stage Co Ordinator, Middle Leader, Curriculum Subject Lead, E- safety and Wellbeing Lead, responsible for the whole school coverage of PE, Computing, Science and most recently PSHE, ensuring progression from Early years to Year 6, providing resources and training where needed, organising whole school awareness events, such as E safety and period awareness talks, for both pupils and parents and assessing and modifying coverage where necessary.
Wellbeing lead whereby I successfully set up and ran a Listening Ear programme for children who have social, emotional and behavioural issues, working on a one to one and small group basis.
Worked collaboratively with other teachers to review data and develop instructional strategies to address student learning objectives.
Working with both the children, their parents and outside agencies to ensure the best possible outcome for the child. To further my understanding in this area I have undertaken courses with CEOP, Mental Health and Wellbeing Providers and completed a course in Counselling Skills.
Organising whole school and community events, such as Sports Days, Colour Runs, World Book day activities, Scavenger Hunts and whole school Easter Egg Hunts.
