Summary

My experience as a Land Regeneration Advisor in the Commercial Property Team at National Grid places me in a unique position to fulfil the role of Lead Consents Officer. I am an accomplished project manager with expertise in delivering large-scale, complex construction projects on time and within budget. These skills are directly transferable to the planning and consenting role required to deliver large infrastructure projects. I am familiar with National Grid safety, environmental & sustainability practices which are key to embedding the positive culture required to deliver major electricity infrastructure upgrades and ensure these important construction projects achieve ambitious sustainability targets. I have developed strategic decision making, prioritization and programme management skills. I have a strong track record in stakeholder liaison and engagement and I have taken a lead role in delivering several safety and environment campaigns to improve SHE culture in accordance with NG core values. I bring with me a wealth of experience across a range of construction-related projects and believe I am a strong candidate for this role. I bring sufficient experience and knowledge to enable me to work independently whilst also working collaboratively with internal and external experts and providing guidance to the wider team of consenting professionals to successfully deliver these exciting new infrastructure projects.
