Angus Nickols

I joined Develeco as the company’s second employee and have played a key role in its growth to a team of four. My role has been varied and hands-on, covering marketing, accounting, and project management across a range of property and sustainability projects. More recently, I have been assisting on the energy engineering side, supporting the delivery of low-carbon retrofit and building performance strategies.

During my placement year at St George's College North, I supported teaching staff across various subjects and assisted with extracurricular activities. The role gave me valuable experience working in an international school environment and deepened my understanding of different cultures. Living and working in Buenos Aires also allowed me to significantly improve my Spanish through daily immersion.

As an Artificial Turf Installation Operative, I was responsible for preparing groundworks, laying and joining synthetic turf, and ensuring high-quality finishes across all projects. The job often involved working away from home and delivering work for important commercial and residential clients, requiring reliability, attention to detail, and a strong team ethic.
