I am currently 17 years old and in Year 13 at AKS Lytham studying towards my A-levels.
I play in the First XI Football team, Cricket team, Athletics and Captained the Hockey team. Playing these sports has allowed me to greatly improve my communication and teamwork skills. Being awarded a captain role in my hockey team also allowed me to develop my leadership skills.
I have completed both bronze and silver Duke of Edinburgh awards and I will have finished my Gold award by the end of Summer. As part of these awards I have volunteered within the community in projects such as the Shoebox appeal in which shoeboxes are filled with gifts to help the disadvantaged in Eastern Europe and a Bring Me Sunshine project aimed at easing loneliness in the elderly.
