  • Processing visa applications for all UK renewals. Within this role, my duties are to meet and greet applicants. Always carry out new safety procedures to protect clients and staff from COVID-19. This includes wearing the correct PPE whilst processing applicants’ visas. Dealing with applicant important and lifelong documents. At times, applicants can be quite nervous. So, to have a reassuring manner is most definitely needed. Applicants can be any age and come from many different backgrounds, so my role includes being patient with babies and children and perhaps at times, new ways of communicating with applicants who are not fluent in English are necessary too.

  • During the pandemic, I decided to help with a temporary role which involved working on the weighbridge. I thoroughly enjoyed this assignment. My responsibilities involved liaising with other logistic companies, via phone and email. ensuring all annexes and floor walkers are signed off and loaded correctly. Training in-house computer systems. Quickly engaging and understanding the matrix of the site. meeting and greeting with transport drivers. Carrying out inductions for anyone new on the premises.

  • My duties were to report on all the work that was taking place in the Medway Green areas. I filled in data entry for all public areas that required to be cut and kept up. Processed agency timesheets. Kept on top on annual leave request. Ordering of uniform and equipment. Whilst working for Medway Norse, they asked me to help in the waste department, this became the department I permanently stayed in. My role was to answer questions from the public regarding general and recycling waste. Dealing with fly tipping issues. Data entry for the drivers and loaders. I really enjoyed my job role at Medway Norse. I had my two children while working for Medway Norse. I then left in April this year to take a role that suited a work life balance around my children.

  • My role as CET initially started off as a receptionist role. My responsibilities involved meeting and greeting customers. Handling the phones and enquiries. Carrying out inductions for anyone new on the premises.

  • Making outbound calls to external companies (as well as dealing with incoming enquiries still)
  • Ordering goods needed, stock and uniform for employees.
