I am a Nurse prescriber

Have developed extensive knowledge and passion for patients suffering with primary headache disorders.as well as dystonia.

My week consists of a new patient clinic

Follow up clinics.

Botulinum Toxin injecting clinic

CGRP clinic , new and follow up.

Dystonia injection clinic


In the course of my work I counsel patients about their conditions their medications and coping strategies.

I prescribed Botox, CGRP medications Self injectable, Infusion and most recently the Ge-pant oral treatments

I wrote the first NHS prescription for Atogepant and I believe I am the highest prescriber in the UK so far. I have developed assessment tools and monitor the real world data from all of the new treatments

I am passionate about ensuring patients get access to treatments are supported to live with the most debilitating neurological condition. The work is evolving and changing and I try to highlight the needs of this patient group to management to ensure that I can offer all treatment options for my patients.

I am able to support new nurses to the role.

I am keen to keep developing and learning.

I regularly attend , support and speak at conferences for headache and dystonia.

  • I Identified a need for patients suffering chronic migraine to access treatment quickly. There are long wait times in the NHS and often patients wait a long time for secondary care referral. I provide. Botox for Chronic migraine and prescribe CGRP and more recently Atogepant. for migraine sufferers.
