Andrew Watters

East Kilbride,United Kingdom

Summary

Having qualified as a Physiotherapist in the last year I have had the opportunity to develop my knowledge and skills within the NHS as a rotational physiotherapist. When completing my training as a student I was lucky enough to carry out a physiotherapy internship with Clyde FC, working with the first team for the season. Assisting in assessing and rehab management of players through gym and pitch based rehab, discussing and communicating with the manager and coaching staff regarding player availability and providing approximate timescales for return to play.

I really enjoyed my time with Clyde and would really enjoy the opportunity to get back into a football environment. I believe I would excel in this post and would be excited to learn and develop further as a physiotherapist as well.

I don't yet have a pitch side first aid qualification but given then opportunity in this post I would seek this out as a priority.
