I have been riding and racing cycles as an enthusiast since 1984,

building and maintaining my own and other team members cycles,

in 1997 I built a full suspension mountain bike, which I still own, from a bare frame sourcing and fitting bespoke parts

I worked for a British Endurance Championship Racing Team building engines and chassis to the highest standards, during the 8hr races entails keeping the bikes running with maintenance, refuelling and often crash damage, requiring very quick thinking and reactions carrying out repairs as quickly and safely as possible to keep the team in the race

I am able to confidently undertake any aspect of cycle repair both in the workshop and out on the road, although Cytech was not around at the time of my training, no specific cycle qualifications were available at the time, I believe with my 381s I am more than qualified
