For the past 18 years I have worked in a fast paced factory, with very tight deadlines and high customer expectations. I hold a current up to date fork lift licence. I'm a very proactive and productive individual seeking opportunities to learn and develop new skills. Day to day i can be in charge of ensuring all orders are packed and ready to be loaded for a set time. This can mean I have to problem solve and think ahead to pre-empt possible problems. During this employment i did become a team leader for 10 years this involved a regular night shift, during 2020 the company changed the way they worked and we all went to days, This meant on paper i was no longer a team leader but in reality i still did the same role.
Previous to the past 18 years i spent 10 years working for Plastech or future windows, This was a passion that i only left when there was a huge decline in this work locally. Here i made and fabricated windows, doors and conservatories. i can use most hand tools and have an excellent hand eye coordination with a fine attention to detail, This could include making windows to spec for customers. i would need to follow measurements and bespoke design features with zero room for errors. I feel this was a real strength of mine.
