Work history

2023.10 - 2026.07
  • I lead the FP&A function delivering a rolling 5 year plan with full P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow responsibility. This uses complex models which require detailed inputs gained from business partnering across the wider business. I provide monthly financial insight & commercial analysis, pricing & margin support, business performance monitoring via KPI's and risk evaluation across a data driven business.

Senior Finance Business Partner Asylum & Support (AASC)

This covers full P&L, BS & cash responsibility as well as being the lead on 2 year budgets and rolling forecasts and 5-year plans. This is the biggest Serco contract awarded at £1.9bn over 10 years. It requires a detailed understanding of a complicated commercial contract and then communicating this in a way non finance stakeholders understand. This enables me to work with them to identify the drivers in the contract that generate risk and opportunities alike in areas such as rent/IFRS16, repair & maintenance, transport, utility costs, property density, service user allowances, COVID hotels and pricing new business via change notes.

These were rolled up into the strategic plan and presented to the Exec team and then reviewed at the Plc Board.
