Encyclis was a carve out from Covanta, and now a leading force in Energy recovery in the UK. After Covanta was Purchased, the separation from Covanta USA to Encyclis Europe began. This involved moving and replacing any system Covanta used, and ensuring a solution was in place. The highlights were:

New MSP - requesting RFQ's and RFS's before offering and then managing the new MSP

Creating a new ERP system (D365)

Implementing DMS (Deal management system)

Managing complete network transition to new providers and setting network traffic rules for vendor support.

Implementing new Hardware. MDM initiatives, giving Ipads securely managed in Jamf

Managing Intune and company portal. Meaning we had a Encyclis build, with relevant Apps on a managed windows device

JML process rolled out to HR

Dealing with SOC alerts covering 6 areas in UK and Ireland

Managing Operational Technology requirements so the plants used the most relevant industrial tech and software in their day to day work.

Covanta is a large American Energy recovery company, who started operating in the UK. They essentially burn household waste, turning that into Electricity, district heating and eradicating the need to landfill. In my role, I was responsible for creating and managing new sites. This involved

Arranging internet circuits to site with ducting runs

Managing the vendor for the structural cabling needs

buying and installing Firewalls, UPS's switches and access points to cover business needs

Test and build out weighbridge IT infrastructure (a way to weigh trucks before and after tipping)
