Affiliations

  • Before I got injured I was very committed to playing rugby for my club and school. I had an extremely strong attendance at training and played a match weekly. I learnt discipline, how to work hard and efficiently to be the best player I could be. I was taught time-keeping due to the punishments we would face for being late. Rugby is a game of respect and it taught me to show respect for the referee, players and coaches even if I didn't agree with them.
  • I also used to play football. I was vice-captain for my county at SuperCup NI where we got to play the likes of Manchester United. Through these sports I have learnt key communication skills

Accomplishments

  • I was vice-captain for county Fermanagh in the SuperCup NI, an international football tournament. I captained my side that week against County Londonderry
  • I achieved the top grade in Physical Education in my year at GCSE level
