Since the start of my journey at Finnies the Jewellers I can confidentiality say I am a dependable and resourceful worker. I really enjoy being productive and being the best version of myself in the work place, Whether that be working on my own tasks or working collectively as a group with my colleagues. Although I enjoy my work at Finnies the Jewellers and have a great relationship with my workshop colleagues it has always been a dream of mine to progress into the car industry as that is where my true passion lies, especially with high performance and elegant vehicles.
My role within Finnies the Jewellers is to support the repairs department within its on site workshop as a watch technician. I am responsible for the maintenance of customers watches and ensuring the shop stock watches are finished to the highest possible standards and maintaining perfect time keeping.
To further enhance my role within the workshop I also provide support to our team of jewellers assisting with any jewellery repairs.
I started my journey as a junior tennis coach assistant along side playing at the club, I started because I wanted to help the coaches during their sessions and expand my commitment to the club. I would go straight from school and aim to be there early before anyone else to allow myself time to set up and let the coaches prepare to take their classes. I would assist them during the session if they needed an extra hand.

In March of 2024 I attended a 3 day General watch repair course that took place at the jewellery academy in Bridlington. It involved us listening to the course leader and watching how he preformed operations, then we would demonstrate we understood how to carry out the procedure properly and to a high standard. I thoroughly enjoyed the course as it gave me a bigger understanding to the whole process of watchmaking and it gave me a broader skill set to incorporate into my job.
In February 2025 I attended a diamond course that was held at Finnies the Jewellers. This course gave me a whole different perspective on how to look at diamonds - the colour, clarity and what the carat of the stone is and even to determine what type of cut the stone was. I thoroughly enjoyed this course as It gave me far a better insight on how diamonds are far more complex than I ever thought and how fascinating they really are.
