Andrea Cilione

My name is Andrea and I am a passionate FX Makeup Artist.

During my career, I had the pleasure to interact with a variety of artists and learn an important set of skills such as wig knotting, prosthetics design and application and supporting during films and plays production.

The latest project I had the pleasure to work on has been the award winning film "IT BE AN EVIL MOON", now streaming on Prime Video.

I am looking forward to start a career in the theatre, film and tv industry as FX makeup artist trainee, to grow and develop my skills set and adaptability alongside industry professionals.

I am an incredibly dedicated individual, happy to work in complete autonomy as a single from a given brief or as part of a team with set tasks, to ensure a realistic and accurate outcome.

My main goal would be to work in a Creature FX department making mythical characters come to life such as centaurs, fauns, satyrs and sirens.

I have always been particularly intrigued by the works of artists such as Nick Dudman, Jason Baird, Howard Berger, who designed those creatures in their films.

While I will soon graduated with a BA in Hair Makeup and Prosthetics for Performance at London College of Fashion; I also had the pleasure to attend both Basic and Advanced Prosthetics courses at the bespoken Delamar Academy in the past.

I am pleased to say that I have achieved all the above while working full time in Hospitality, this industry has helped me building resilience, under pressure performance, organisational and interaction skills.

Fun fact: I can make great cups of tea and I am always up for a good laugh.
