  • Planning, Coordinating and Facilitating the Trust’s Nursing & Midwifery Induction.
  • Supporting in the Delivery of education programmes for registered nurses such as Preceptorship Programme, OSCE preparation programme, Supporting Practice and Care Excellence Programme.
  • Delivering short teaching sessions on falls management, Appraisals, professionalism and others.

  • Developing Scenarios (relating to OSCE Content) to be provided for the IENs During their Mock OSCE Sessions in preparation for the Part II ToC.
  • Offering re-sit preparation support for IENs who will need to take a second or third attempt of the OSCE, and provide feedback that will help them rectify the errors that were made in the stations they were unsuccessful in.
  • Checking the NMC and Test Centre websites to check the most recent up to date resources and instructions that are provided to the IENs for the OSCE.
  • Ensure that the Education Centre is well maintained and is safe for training facilitation.
  • Checking equipment used for trainings and Coordinates with other members of the team to ensure that there are enough stock for training sessions.
  • Attends the IEN Pre-arrival meeting (in Teams) to welcome the IENs and to provide any information that they will need in advance of the OSCE.
  • Delivering Train the Trainer to other Clinical Practice Educators for OSCE preparation programme.
  • Delivering Digital Learning Solutions- IV Therapy assessor workshop for senior nurses, clinical practice educators and managers.
  • Attending Clinical Practice Events to promote staff development.
