My career has been dedicated to nursing. At 55 years old I decided to retire and return to my existing role for 2 days per week. However I would really like a new challenge and have always had a passion for skin care and makeup.
Although I have no experience of retail, nursing has many of the skills required for a role within retail, including the ability to deal with many different people providing excellent customer service. People describe me as being warm and personable and I thrive when working with a team. I am really hard working and very willing to learn.
To manage a six bedded intensive care area for adults and children with an acute neurological disorder. To provide cover for the unit as a whole. Effective support and teaching for patients, relatives and health care professionals an essential part of the role.
Responsibilities included the nursing care of acute neurosurgical patients, teaching and supervision of junior staff and some ward management experience.
