- Guest Service:Greet guests, seat them at tables, and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Order Taking:Accurately take food and beverage orders, making recommendations and informing guests about menu items.
- Food and Beverage Service:Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, attending to guest requests and needs.
- Table Management:Set up tables, clear plates, and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Payment Handling:Process payments and handle any guest inquiries regarding their bill.
- Collaboration:Work with kitchen staff and other waitstaff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
- Hygiene and Sanitation:Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the dining area, following company policies.
- Menu and Wine Knowledge:Familiarize yourself with the menu descriptions and wine lists, and be able to answer guest questions about them.
- Other Responsibilities:May assist with tasks such as setting up buffets, serving cocktails at parties, or working in different food and beverage locations.
