Client needed to adopt new IFRS reporting standards and wanted move from their legacy systems to cloud. Oracle FCCS (Financial Consolidation & Close Cloud services ) was selected as the best-fit solution for this transition. I was responsible for leading the transition from operations perspective that included gathering business requirements to align with the new reporting standards, coordinating directly with Oracle as part of the implementation team and carrying out full due diligence to ensure the service was fully ready for go-live.
As part of the same, I supported 250+ business users and managed over 15GB of confidential financial data spanning 3 years during the transition. Also designed the operational model for the support team, created process documentation and drafted SLAs/ Service agreements to ensure smooth project handover from development to BAU operations.
- Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud Implementation & Operational Transition. (Oct-2018 to Jan-2019)
Played a key role in the implementation and operational onboarding of Oracle Fusion Financials for a UK client, supporting Accounts Payable and Payment Process Request (PPR) processes.
Managed operational readiness and operational acceptance activities, supported commissioning and testing phases, developed knowledge articles and support documentation, facilitated the transition of services into business-as-usual operations.
