I provided outstanding assistance and nursing care to 32 elderly people suffering from cognitive and physical difficulties.
I got the opportunity to audit CDs, Dols and CHC referrals, and supervise employees.
I maintained the documentation through a software system.

An outstanding Home care, where I provided services for 30 Elderly with cognitive and physical disabilities in need of continuing healthcare, 24 hours a day.

I was leading my day shifts, providing person-centered care to the residents, guiding the staff and managing the home care setting in the absence of the Manager.

I had the opportunity to oversee the wound management, audit care note and air-mattress settings, as well as introduce to the staff training presentation "Recording and reporting".

A few of my responsibilities done:

- lead the staff and routine, such as diary task, cover sickness absence, etc.

- mentored the new staff

- collaborated with other health team such as GP rounds, TVN, SALT, etc.

- maintained a calm environment, such as dealing with complaints, staff conflict, managing an agitated resident, etc.

- responded to emergencies, such as fire safety, falls, etc.

- developing and evaluating the care plan and assessment

- administration of medication

- provided direct quality care to the residents including daily monitoring, recording and evaluating their medical conditions, etc

I provided safety and support with day-to-day living tasks to the elderly with physical and cognitive issues. I had to efficiently communicate with my colleagues for the best outcomes for our residents. The caregiver field allowed me to develop the skills I needed to become a registered nurse in the next step career.
