Mother/Homemaker

My children & Husband
Potters Bar, Hertfordshire
06.2013 - Current

We decided as a family that I would take time out to focus and look after our children, now our children are all in full time school I would love to get back into work.

Sole charge nanny for two families

Madilene & Francis
Islington, City of London
09.2012 - 06.2013
  • Charge Live out Nanny Share – Full time for two 4mths and one 2yrs
  • Responsible for looking after three young children, two of them babies,
  • Liable for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of the children.
  • Created and implemented a solid routine for all children.
  • Weaned the babies onto solids using ‘baby led weaning'
  • Maintained the cleanliness of the children's area at home.
  • Provided stimulating activities throughout the different stages of development for all the children.

My days were spent at local stay and plays, parks, city farms, singing groups and other child focused activities such as messy play, painting, reading, cooking, Jungle gyms and gatherings with other local nannies so the children were given the opportunity to build on their social development.
Working for two different families has enabled me to work to an excellent standard under significant pressure whilst maintaining a positive, fun and educational atmosphere for the children.

Being extremely organised and thoroughly focused on the children I enjoyed the challenge of organising and implementing structure and a daily routine that worked for all the children and their different stages of development, along with working for two different families, I have enjoyed every minute of watching them grow, learn and develop, meeting all their milestones.
I educated the 2 year old to speak English as French was her first language and I made sure the babies had the right interactions and care they needed to reach their individual needs and milestones as no baby/child is the same and all develop differently at different stages.

I cooked and prepared healthy meals and snacks throughout the day and occasionally bathed the children, I toilet trained the 2yr old and weaned the babies onto solids.
