During a one-week work experience placement at a hairdressing salon, I supported staff with day-to-day tasks and helped maintain a clean, organised and welcoming environment. I assisted with washing clients’ hair under supervision and helped customers in a friendly and professional manner. This experience allowed me to develop my communication, teamwork and customer service skills while gaining an understanding of working in a busy professional environment.
