I began my time at Wild Recruitment as a temporary member of staff, supporting the team with general administrative duties and assisting with candidate sourcing for client vacancies. After just two months, I was offered a permanent position and promoted to Recruitment Consultant in January 2020, where I took on responsibility for running the Driving and Industrial division. This marked the start of my sales journey, where I focused on client acquisition, business development, and building strong relationships with both new and existing clients. In January 2023, I was promoted again to Senior Consultant, managing a team of 6 that looked after the Poole branch’s highest billing client, with a minimum annual turnover of £500k. Over the years, I developed strong sales skills, built and maintained excellent client relationships, and gained valuable experience in leadership and account management within a fast-paced, target-driven environment. During my time at Wild, I also won various performance awards, which are detailed in the achievements section of my CV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managed end-to-end recruitment for Driving and Industrial roles, including advertising, screening, interviewing, and placement.

  • Achieved and exceeded weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.
  • Used CRM systems to track activity, candidate pipelines, and client communication.

  • Monitored advertising responses closely, refining strategies as needed.
  • Utilised industry knowledge whilst developing recruitment strategies tailored to client needs.

Bakery assistant

Patisserie Mark Bennett
Poole , Dorset
05.2015 - 10.2019

I began my journey with Patisserie Mark Bennett at the age of 14, starting with a one-week work experience placement. This soon progressed into a weekend/holiday job, and by 16 I was offered a permanent position. Working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment from such a young age gave me a solid foundation in both professional and personal development. I quickly built confidence in dealing with customers, learned how to manage pressure during busy periods, and developed strong communication and time-management skills. Being part of a well-respected local business also taught me the importance of teamwork, attention to detail, and delivering a high standard of service. Since officially leaving in October 2019, I’ve continued to help out from time to time, which reflects my strong connection to the team and the positive experience I had throughout my time there.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provided friendly and efficient customer service in a busy environment.
  • Operated the till and handled cash and card transactions accurately.
  • Prepared and served hot and cold drinks, including barista-style coffees.
  • Made fresh sandwiches and assisted with food preparation to order.
  • Maintained cleanliness and hygiene standards across front-of-house and kitchen areas.
  • Restocked displays and ensured the counter was well-presented throughout the day.
  • Supported team members during peak times to ensure smooth service.
  • Ensured customer satisfaction by promptly serving freshly baked goods.
  • Built strong rapport with regular customers and contributed to a welcoming atmosphere.
