• Within this position I carried out a number of tasks including stable management, assisting with polo specific tasks ( taking horses for singles and assisting with training program), assisting with a breeding program and helping with routine stud activities.
• Assisted in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of yard space to promote safety and efficiency.
• Supported loading and unloading of materials and equipment, ensuring proper handling procedures were followed.
• Managed stables efficiently to ensure clean, safe environments for horses and riders alike.
• Monitored foaling process to ensure safety and wellbeing of both mare and foal.
• Assisted during foaling season; ensured safe delivery of foals whilst providing necessary postnatal care for mares and foals.
• Assisted with natural coverings handling both the mare and stallion, ensuring a safe environment for both horses and handlers.
• Preforming general exercising tasks to ensure a general level of fitness was maintained throughout the polo season for all actively playing polo ponies.
• Assisting with the sales process for polo ponies coming to the end of there polo career and ensuring suitable homes are found for all horses.

• Having sole charge of the yard and ensuring all jobs were completed in a time efficient manor, while completing jobs to a high standard.
• Organised and maintained cleanliness of the yard, including stables and equipment areas.
• Monitored horse behaviour and health, reporting any concerns to owners promptly.
• Orchestrated repairs and maintenance work on facilities, guaranteed peak operating conditions always maintained, including surface maintenance of the arena and canter track.
• Assisted clients with horse-related inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Prepared and administered feed and supplements to meet specific dietary requirements.
• Carried out day-to-day duties accurately and efficiently.
• Worked flexible hours, covering nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Consistently arrived at work on time and ready to start immediately.

During my work experience at pigeon house equestrian i was responsible for a number of key jobs these included:

• Taking payments and booking clients in for future events and lessons.
• Monitored horse behaviour and health, reporting any issues to management promptly.
