- This opportunity allowed me to understand how a farm functions. I especially enjoyed being able to have the freedom to work closely with the produce and animals. I found being part of the ‘farm to plate’ process fascinating.
- It was a small farm, so I was given lots of responsibility. At first, it was quite intimidating, but I was soon up for the challenge. This allowed me to develop my independence whilst also being a valued team member.
