As a compassionate deputy care home manager with extensive expertise in social care, mental health support, and therapeutic care. I am proficient in delivering tailored person-centred approaches, with certifications in trauma-informed practices, acquired brain injury care, MCA and DoLS, and PBS/PBM training.

In my role as a deputy, I can demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, conflict resolution skills, and outstanding de-escalation techniques. I am experienced in safeguarding policies, support planning, medication administration, and professional documentation. With my knowledge in a residential setting, I am able to assist the home manager in quarterly and yearly audits; following strict CIW guidelines.

Documentation has been a priority in my job roles, to document everything to the upmost standard. To keep track of all events and activities, ranging from body mapping, incident reports and safeguarding concerns; a high standard of English language is needed to maintain this responsibility and able to demonstrate from a professional point. I am able to deliver professional communication with third parties such as social workers, community nurses, clinical teams, People We Support family members and participate in best interest meetings.

Along with my experience as a deputy home manager, I have also cared for elderly patients in the NHS for over three years. With a strong focus on promoting independence and their health and wellbeing, I have specialised knowledge in mental health, Dementia and Parkinson's disease. Furthermore, I am skilled in various medical procedures such as PEG feeding, changing and maintain clean and healthy stoma bags, stroke left - right sided weakness, dependent oxygen, tracheostomy suctioning and diabetes management. Through my in depth experience and knowledge, I am dedicated to provide comprehensive care in a residential setting.
