Interface Process Engineer – Operations Readiness & Start-Up (ORSU).

Key Responsibilities and Contributions:

• Actively participated in early project phases, including concept selection and front-end engineering design (FEED).
• Attended and contributed to key engineering workshops, such as HAZOP, 3D model reviews, and design/constructability sessions.
• Captured and applied lessons learned from previous projects to improve execution and operational outcomes.
• Led interface coordination between engineering, commissioning, and operations teams.

• Ensure compliance with process safety standards, and implement engineering corrective actions for seven degassing stations at North Rumaila through Engineering Queries (EQs) and Management of Change (MOC) procedures.
• Conducted comprehensive root cause analyses to identify, prioritize, and eliminate process disruptions, resulting in significant production efficiency.
• Identified bottlenecks in the production line through capacity analysis studies, increasing overall throughput rates as a result.

• Led cross-functional teams in successful execution of large-scale oil and gas projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
• Developed essential documentation, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory standards.
• Created and managed project schedules, ensuring timely milestone completion.

• Supported daily field operations for Majnoon field to achieve production targets.
• Improved process safety by conducting hazard assessments and implementing risk mitigation measures.
• Developed documentation, diagrams, and specifications to meet project requirements and regulatory standards.

• Joined Shell graduate program and was in the first five finishing the program in a group of 45 engineers.
• Supported daily field operations for Majnoon field to achieve production targets.
• Provided technical support for troubleshooting equipment issues, maintaining plant reliability and minimizing operational disruptions.
