  • Both projects had a similar scope to upgrade both software and hardware stack to cope with future volumes and provide resilience to the bank’s payment architecture

  • The Group Release Environments was one of the biggest initiatives taken by Lloyds to execute, multiple programmes in parallel, stream line the test environment availability and booking, and test data automation to perform comprehensive live scenarios in test environments
  • This programme delivered over the period of 3 to 4 years in multiple phases
  • First phase started during Verde programme by delivering two E2E test environments for critical applications, which enabled Verde programme to complete major testing, dress rehearsal and live proving in parallel and on time
  • I was responsible for liaising with infrastructure teams to define the project delivery plan, define reusable test environment templates, environment delivery, system configuration, test data automation, automated deployment to all GR environments using teamsite, rapid deploy and Tivoli, configuration management and environment maintenance strategy.Overall budget allocated for the programme is 15 Million + and I was responsible for managing 3 Million over 2 years
  • The programme enabled the Bank to run multiple programmes in parallel by reducing its test environment contention, test data and deployment automation
  • This reduced the test cycle by 30% and significantly reduced the post live defects and incidents.
