Search and Rescue Robot, University of Exeter, April 2023 – Aug 2023

  • Arduino based engineering project to research on robot design for stairs climbing and overcoming obstacles.
  • Developed 3D CAD model in SolidWorks and 3D printed parts for assembly.
  • Gained deeper understanding of DC motors and their controllers.
  • Developed a controller with joysticks and potentiometer to control DC and servo motors with RF communication.
  • Learnt about various types of batteries and used LiPo batteries along with buck converters to power components.


Flight Control Simulation, University of Exeter, Jan 2023 – Mar 2023

  • Created a SIMULINK model of longitudinal axis of B747-100/200 aircraft.
  • Sensitivity/uncertainty analysis of the open-loop system using one-factor at a time method.

  • Lead team from overall rank of 97th to 13th in SAE BAJA INDIA competition in 2019 and 17th in 2020.
  • Managed major design improvements: new CVT and gearbox design and tuning, new brake rotors with 50% weight reduction, modified suspension geometry and implemented new data acquisition systems for sub-system tuning.
