  • · Supporting the delivery of Release, Change & Projects for all Barclays business units. Work extensively with Release Managers, Service Managers, Project Managers, Application/ Infrastructure support teams at all levels. This involves taking responsibility for area of work to support Change & Release Management and minimize risk to IT environment to support our goal to become the ‘Go-To’ choice for consumers.
  • ·Utilize and develop skills in supporting the successful delivery of Change and Release through applying appropriate control and governance followed in Barclays via the Change and Release Process.
  • · Chair/Minute the Weekly High Risk changes CAB for my BUs.
  • · Chair/Minute the Weekly Failed Change meeting to discuss the issue that were observed, drive the teams to document the lessons learnt and take on actions to close loop any gaps or add to the current best practices so as to avoid future reoccurrences.
  • · As an Additional responsibility I was the Champion for SM new tool launch and currently also perform pre & post testing for tool releases from Change Management team. This is to support testing & highlighting issues/bugs, smooth transition for the change requesters and being the go to person for any issues on the floor.
  • · Identifying improvements at all levels of the SDLC life cycle by reviewing, improving & approving the various plans / trackers generated. Ensuring an efficient and effective Change and Release process whilst maintaining the rigor and governance required ensuring protection and stability of Service.
  • · As this is an individual contributor role it also requires me to represent my team at various forums which are held by Central and cluster teams for internal Governance like Failed Change Process review, Governance forums and SFUF (Service First User Form) etc
  • · Additionally have worked on ORAC – Audit related actions tracking. When required provide data to the Audit teams in proper format as requested.
  • · For 4years had single handed organizing, scheduling & many times even conducting the BX Change Management process training for all the BUs of Barclays and am looked up to as easily reachable member of the team for any guidance around the process and tool. Now from the last year this task is managed in coordination with Change Governance team.

  • Tracking Service Impacting Incidents and creating RCAs for Change Assurance management to have proper incident occurrence, fault fixes understanding and systematic completion of RCA findings.
  • Assisting the Change Manager for having a final control point even after the CAB approval to review high impact changes to check Readiness before they are allowed into production.
  • Help fine tune change control processes (CA Tool, RFT etc), review the implementation of changes and if proper impact assessment was done to help improve the quality and efficiency benefits.
