Amed Mohammadi

I started working in a mechanics garage in scotstoun to gain work experience before i applied for college and i worked in the garage for around 9 months everyday as a volunteer i enjoyed working with cars especially the engine parts and doing the services i met lots of new people and my communication with people improved a lot and every 2 month i worked under a new qualified mechanic and in 8 months time i was perfect mechanic and my hands were fast and i fixed cars without anyone help i worked there as a volunteer so i have better experience when i start college and recognise the tools and machines in the workshop.

When i first came to the UK my English was really bad i couldn't talk to people or understand what they were saying and to improve my English i volunteered working in the local library to improve my English by talking a lot with other people that worked in there reading lots of books and memorising English daily words within 1 year my English got perfect my communication got much better i found lots of new friends.
