Ambrose Adeogba

London

Summary

Since 2007 I worked and got taught by fixers, carpenters, partitioners, builders and assistant/site managers from the large and small companies I worked for. I gained valuable experience from projects I worked on, most jobs I took on price,as I had a good fast bunch of lads I could trust to do a good job and also helped run to programme. Whilst on the tools I became very proficient in all ceilings, and all partition systems. Helping run teams of fixers on sites and ensuring all drawings/partitions/ceilings where built to drawing and completed on time and to my high-quality finish. Learning and being taught everything I know from experienced guys on jobs, and on sites.

Working for a few companies, on projects I was awarded; some took us all over the country. As well as being the boss of my own company on these jobs, many of them I had the responsibility to source labour, materials and supervise other trades from start to finish. I mostly go in as a Supervisor/Fixer, as I prefer to be on-site with all my years of experience in ceilings, partitions and fire-stopping of commercial build projects.

Having gained my experience on site, starting at the bottom. I feel it will always make me that much more of a perfectionist in making sure that the finished result, is of the highest standard possible, as I know what to look for and what exactly is involved. With the ability to read drawings and foresee any problems, as an experienced fixer, really saves on a lot of problems on projects. Then, to measure & mark out on site in preparation for fixers and working together to ensure works are carried out in line with their RAMS and within the programme.

Always ensuring materials for the works due are on site and safely stored and all drawings, labour and plant/equipment is ready in line with the RAMS for the jobs to start, minimising any delays. I am known for my reliability and consistency in high standard of work and expect nothing less for those who work for me. I have great people skills, have a positive mental attitude and able to liaise with tradesmen, clients, managers and/or directors easily gives me a great advantage in communicating what is required for the project/s to all necessary personnel clearly and concisely. Hardworking Contractor with experience in labouring and construction roles. Organised with good planning abilities to meet task deadlines and maintain project progress. Committed work ethic with positive, can-do attitude for flexible team support. Multi-skilled Contractor with adaptable experience across varied projects. I enjoy badminton and golf; wish I could do more of both. Just if and when I can now. I love days out with my family and of course holidays. But domestically, I enjoy watching horror, action and sci-fi movies. I also enjoy listening to all genres of music, seeing friends and family as often as we can. I love reading too! Dean Koontz and Stephen King are my old-time favourites, but don’t have the time really to drift away into a book now we have two boys. My wife and I are best friends and like to say ‘we always go with the flow, as long as it’s our flow’.
