Amber Schulein

I am currently waitressing in a busy cafe in Chesham town on a Saturday and Sunday. I help to open the shop in the morning, setting out the chairs and tables and ensure that the coffee machines are ready for use. throughout the day I take customers food and drink orders and deliver them once they have been prepared. I help to make drinks like teas and coffees when I am needed and also enjoy making the desserts. When customers are finished, I take their payments and have learnt how to handle cash transactions accurately. In the evenings I help to clean the restaurant, cleaning all bathrooms, coffee machines and hover and mop before leaving. Throughout my time working there I have gained an understanding of the diversity of peoples needs, such as people who are disabled etc. I have learned how to communicate well with customers in order to ensure they have the best experience possible while at the restaurant and with my colleges to help everything run smoothly .
