Amarah Bashir

An ambitious and motivated Sixth Form student currently studying Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, predicted AAB, with a strong interest in healthcare, optometry and patient care. Reliable, organised and eager to learn, with experience gained in a community pharmacy supporting pharmacists and interacting with customers in a professional healthcare environment. Developed strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills while understanding the importance of accuracy, confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service. Looking to further develop practical experience within a professional organisation while making a positive contribution to both colleagues and customers.

Regular participation in netball and football has strengthened teamwork, leadership, resilience and effective time management while working towards shared goals.

Optometry & Healthcare

I have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in optometry, combining my passion for science with helping others improve their quality of life. I am keen to gain further practical experience within an optician or healthcare environment to continue developing the knowledge and professional skills required for a future career as an optometrist.
